It is our mission at Kerrington's Heart to create a support network for families and caregivers of children with heart disease, along with providing education, encouragement and hope. Through our Parent Matching Program with Kentucky Children's Hospital, we connect families together. This program allows you to communicate with an individual who has had some of the same experiences. This network gives you someone to lean on when you’re facing the countless hours of doctor's visits, test and procedures, and the worries of what lies ahead for you and your child. It is our hope that you will find the support and resources you need through Kerrington’s Heart.
Hospital Visitation
Qualified members of Kerrington’s Heart, Inc. making on site visits to parents whose children have either been diagnosed or are undergoing treatment for Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) at Kentucky Children’s Hospital.
Kerrington’s Heart Bags
Tote bags given to the patient’s family during a personal visit by a qualified member of Kerrington’s Heart, Inc. after the child’s heart surgery. The bag contains items for the family to use while in the hospital as well as some items for the child.
CPR Classes
FREE 3 hour class performed on site at Kentucky Children’s Hospital for the
family’s convenience by American Heart Association.
Legislature Awareness
Promote legislative awareness to our Government Officials through letter campaigns and National CHD Lobby Day.

Provide resources, knowledge and information to help guide you through each stage of your CHD experience.
